Heavy Rain Alert For Tamil Nadu, Chief Minister On Ground With Officials

Amid heavy rain forecast, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has told government officials that he will be on the ground with them. Crediting officials for averting the loss of life and minimising property damage, he also expressed his gratitude towards electricity, PWD officials who have worked tirelessly on the ground. The government has declared a holiday for educational institutions in 23 districts. Several localities in Chennai went underwater and subways have been closed for traffic due to flooding.
