Amid a raging coronavirus pandemic, India is facing a pandemic of hate speech by high-ranking politicians, mainly of the BJP. On Reality Check, we look at NDTV hate speech tracker data which shows that under Modi government, 'VIP' hate speech has surged 1,130% and in past 4 months, hate speech has jumped 160% compared to average of Modi years.
