"Had Once Called Me Daughter": Actress Sowmya Alleges Tamil Director Raped Her
Actress Sowmya, a popular actor in Tamil and Malayalam cinema, has alleged she was sexually exploited by a Tamil film director for several months. She said the director and his wife groomed her when she was 18 and he sexually abused her as she worked on a film with him. Sowmya who's real name is Sujata refused to name her abuser but said that she was willing to name him in a complaint to the Special Investigation Team.
