According to the World Health Organization, 14 of the 20 most polluted cities in the world are in India. 2 Indians die a minute from air pollution related illnesses. Last year, a public health emergency was declared in Delhi NCR as pollution levels were 70 times the safe limit. While efforts are being made by implementing Graded Response Action Plan and other initiatives, a 13,000 sq feet enclosure in Gurgaon has become a safe haven for many residents. Equipped with an air purifier and NASA approved air purifying plants such as areca palm, peace lily and sansevieria trifasciata (also known as mother-in-law's tongue or snake plant), the place, is a treat for the eyes and, more important, for the lungs.
