Two accomplices of a conman from Gujarat who posed as a senior official of the Prime Minister's Office, have been called for questioning by the Jammu and Kashmir police, sources said. While conman Kiran Bhai Patel has been arrested, Amit Hitesh Pandya and Jay Sitapara -- both residents of Gujarat -- were let off.  Amit Hitesh Pandya is the son of an official in Gujarat Chief Ministers office. "They are being examined. They may have fallen into trap of conman," said a police officer, explaining why they were not arrested.
