"Global South Needs To Be Rule-Shaper, India Ready To Take Lead": PM At BRICS

The Global South must also become a global decision-maker, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has told a gathering of world leaders during the BRICS summit in New Delhi, underlining the need for every member state to have a voice.

He said that 10 proposals be drafted for global governance reform in an effort to develop a 'BRICS Reform Roadmap.' This must focus on the three core pillars of representation, responsiveness, and rule-making, he said.
