Ghulam Nabi Azad On 'Anti-Terror' Sentiment In Kashmiri Muslims After Attack

Democratic Progressive Azad Party chief Ghulam Nabi Azad hailed spontaneous public protests by Kashmiris against the Pahalgam terrorist attack, calling it a historic shift. He noted an unprecedented anti-terror sentiment among local Muslims, with no sympathy for Pakistan. On Pahalgam Terrorist Attack, Democratic Progressive Azad Party President Ghulam Nabi Azad said, "Earlier, people used to come to the streets only when the protests were leader-sponsored. This was the first time I saw people taking the initiative and coming to the streets. People condemned the terrorist attack at religious places. For the first time, I have seen such an anti-terrorist environment in Kashmir among Muslims...If the protests were covered by the media properly, Pakistan would have got a good reply.
