From Salman Khan to Mammootty: Film Stars Rally Behind Students' Protest

Bollywood's biggest stars have come out in support of students protesting over the alleged NEET paper leak, calling for accountability, transparency and a fair education system.

Salman Khan was among the first major actors to publicly back the students, saying he was saddened that a peaceful movement had turned violent. He praised students for standing together and later appealed to them to return home, expressing confidence that action would be taken against those responsible. Salman also urged activist Sonam Wangchuk to end his fast, even offering to send him food from home.

Soon, several leading actors joined the conversation. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, R. Madhavan, Sara Ali Khan, Varun Dhawan, Ananya Panday, Twinkle Khanna and Aditi Rao Hydari voiced support for students and called for a transparent and trustworthy education system. From the South Indian film industry, Dulquer Salmaan, Mammootty and Parvathy also expressed solidarity with the protesters.

As the student movement gains momentum, support from India's film industry continues to grow, amplifying calls for educational reforms and a system that rewards merit and fairness.
