An all-girl rock group from Kashmir has disbanded after fatwa from a senior priest who denounced their music as "un-Islamic," an art gallery in Bangalore had to take down three paintings of Hindu gods and goddesses after a BJP politician declared them offensive, and in Delhi, organisers of a gallery exhibiting nude paintings faced protests by fringe groups. But so far, they have resisted the pressure.
