'Aravalli humari jaan hai, bachana humara kaam hai', (Aravallis are dying, it is our job to save it) 'The Earth is dying, stop denying', 'Say no to the use of single-use plastic'. These are some of the messages by the school children of Gurugram that are hoping that their appeal will make people realise the destruction that indiscriminate human action has unleashed all around, and spur them into action to save the planet. The students also are part of #FridaysForFuture movement currently on globally where school students skip school every Friday to protest against the lack of action to combat climate change and the relentless damage being done to the environment.
