"Finance Minister's statement is technically correct. When US interest rates go up, it sucks capital from all over the world. It puts pressure of many economies. India can't escape this pressure. All advanced economies and emerging markets will stay under pressure till capital is getting sucked by the US," said Sajjid Chinoi, PM advisory council member, when asked whether global factors are responsible for the rupee's fall.
