Film on Manjunath: Tribute to a real life hero
It's a story which grabbed headlines and enraged everyone when Manjunath Shanmugam was shot dead for doing his duty. The slain IIM graduate's life will now be on celluloid with Rang De Basanti actor Siddharth in the lead role. Exactly two years ago, Manjunath, a sales officer with the Indian Oil Corporation was shot dead at a petrol pump in Lakhimpur district of Uttar Pradesh.
