FBI Raids Home Of Trump's Ex-NSA Bolton| Powell Says Fed May Cut Rates| US' 'Maharaja' Jibe At India

The FBI has searched the Maryland home of John Bolton, President Trump's former national security advisor, in what makes a major escalation of a year-long classified information probe. Investigators are examining whether Bolton illegally shared or retained sensitive materials, including those tied to his 2020 memoir, The Room Where It Happened. In another development, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell has opened the door to possible interest rate cuts as early as next month but stopped short of committing. Speaking at the Fed's annual Jackson Hole conference, Powell warned that risks to employment are growing even as inflation pressures from new tariffs linger. In another development, Calling India the "Maharaj" of tariffs, US President Donald Trump's trade adviser, Peter Navarro, has accused India of running a "profiteering scheme" by continuing to import Russian oil. Navarro expects punitive tariffs of 50 per cent on Indian imports to take effect as planned next week. NDTV's Allister D'Souza brings the latest.
