Yashoda, 21, was taken for her delivery to a community health centre in Madhya Pradesh's Jakhnod village. The family, however, had to return as they did not have the money to pay bribe to the nurses. Eight days after giving birth to a daughter at home, Yashoda died. Twenty days later, her daughter also passed away.
