Man Jit Singh, CEO of Sony Entertainment Network and president of the Indian Broadcasting Foundation, says that broadcasters will see a 15-20 per cent drop in carriage fee every year for the next three, and that eventually carriage fee will be very minuscule numbers for most. He also sees subscription numbers seeing a big ramp-up over the next few years, especially as phase-II of digitization kicks in.
