"Blackening of me is not a humiliation for me at all. But I was wearing a tricolor. This tricolor has been blackened. So it's an insult to the idea of India," said Sudheendra Kulkarni even as the Shiv Sena defended the paint attack on him calling it a "mild attack". Speaking to NDTV along with former Pakistan minister Mahmud Kasuri, whose book launch he has organised in Mumbai, Mr Kulkarni said that the event will go on and that democracy and pluralism in India "must be defended".
