Data from the clinical trials has shown that the coronavirus vaccine developed by the University of Oxford stops at least 70% of people from developing COVID-19 symptoms. It is both a triumph and a disappointment as vaccines developed by Pfizer and Moderna showed 95% efficacy. Dr Gagandeep Kang, Executive Director of the Translational Health Science and Technology Institute, says the data showed the vaccine works.
