Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot termed the cancellation of NEET UG 2026 a "major and unfortunate development," alleging that organised paper leak gangs are operating across multiple states. Speaking to NDTV, Gehlot said repeated exam leaks over recent years have severely impacted students and damaged the credibility of the system.
