The rising pollution levels in the National capital region have caused a health emergency according to the Indian Medical Association, more than that this year the Air Pollution is being tagged as 'worst' as compared to last few years. In certain places of Delhi, Air Quality Index reflected 999 (the maximum level the monitors can record).That's almost double the upper limit of what's considered hazardous. For days, Delhi has been topping the pollution charts and as the capital suffocates the accusatory finger has been wandering from stubble burning farmers, polluting vehicles and firecrackers.
