Multiplex Association of India Requests Delhi Govt to Open Cinemas

Shutting down cinemas in Delhi due to the rising covid cases has shocked the entertainment industry that has seen huge losses in the last two years. The Multiplex Association of India has written to Delhi's Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and also met Dy Chief Minister of Delhi Mr. Manish Shisodia and requested them to reconsider their decision of shutting down cinemas. Kamal Gianchandani, President, MAI and Shashank Raizada, MD Delite Cinema, Delhi, and President, National Association of Motion Pictures Exhibitors spoke to NDTV's Rohit Khilnani.
