A child battling Cancer is still just a child at the end of the day and it is in line with this core thought that we launched the school-connect initiative encouraging children from schools across the country to extend their solidarity with their peers battling this illness - by sending a gift and message of hope! What we witnessed thereafter was in every sense of the word, truly amazing. Not only did schools from metros such as Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi extend their support to our initiative by sending toys, books, art supplies, etc. to the various CanKids centres, but smaller towns, such as Varanasi, Trivandrum, Raigarh, Udaipur, Rajkot, Pondicherry, etc. contributed generously, restoring our faith in the humanity of our nation.
