Election Panel Disqualifies Madhya Pradesh Minister For Alleged Corruption | Read

Madhya Pradesh minister Narottam Mishra today has been disqualified by the Election Commission of India over alleged corrupt practices and paid news during 2008 assembly polls in the state. Mr Mishra has been barred from contesting elections for three years. The assembly polls are likely to be held in December 2018. "I didn't give any money to the media. I haven't got the order yet. Will move High Court," said Mr Mishra.
