Election Commission Extends SIR Claims & Objections Deadline To October 30 In Delhi
The Election Commission has extended the deadline for filing claims and objections under Delhi’s Special Intensive Revision to October 30. The move gives voters more time to seek inclusion or raise objections over the electoral rolls. The ECI also clarified the use of Form 6 and said the declaration attached to the SIR form has been upheld by the Supreme Court. In Goa, BLOs have been directed to conduct house-to-house visits, with 81 of 97 identified voters submitting Form 6.
