Iran has claimed it received an initial draft memorandum of understanding from the United States aimed at ending the ongoing conflict in West Asia. According to the proposed framework, Iran would restore commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz to pre-war levels within 30 days, while the U.S. would withdraw military forces from Iran's vicinity and lift its naval blockade. The draft also reportedly suggests that a final agreement reached within 60 days could be formalised through a binding United Nations Security Council resolution. However, the White House has denied reports of such a proposal.
