DMDK’s Sudhish Set For Rajya Sabha With DMK Backing; Premalatha Defends Family Pick

In an exclusive conversation with NDTV, DMDK chief Premalatha Vijayakanth defended the nomination of her brother, saying Sudhish had “earned” the post and dismissed criticism over family politics. She also hinted that the party will soon decide if she should contest the Assembly elections. Premalatha said DMDK will raise key Tamil Nadu issues in Parliament while working on a roadmap to revive the party founded by Vijayakanth.
