Dhanbad Residents Collect Water From An Abandoned Coal Mine For Their Daily Needs
For hundreds of people living around the coal mine town of Jharia in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand, collecting water dripping from an underground coal mine has been a routine for many years now. Local residents say, because of water scarcity, they are forced to trek to this abandoned mine in search of water for their daily chores.
