Devyani Khobragade: A Pawn in a Larger Political Game?
Staying defiant, Devyani Khobragade, the Indian Foreign Service officer who was strip searched in the United States a year ago, speaks to us again, after the External Affairs Ministry removed her from her post for breaking rules and speaking to NDTV. Controversy doesn't seem to leave this officer, who faces all sorts of charges in what some see as a fall from grace from where she was a year ago; she was seen to be a forthright officer who had been wronged by the American judicial system.
