Demand For Wheat Shoots Up In International Market

The demand for wheat grown in Madhya Pradesh has shot up in the international market amid short supply from Russia and Ukraine due to the ongoing war. The state has a stock of 150 lakh metric tonnes of wheat against its need of 30 lakh metric tonnes. Farmers in Madhya Pradesh are now getting up to Rs 2400- 2,500/quintal of wheat in mandis as against the Rs 2,015 MSP.
