Delhi's fire-proof puja pandal

When a gigantic pandal in Chittaranjan Park went up in flames last year, all of Delhi held its breath. Two lakh visitors had been at the pandal that day -- the silver lining was that the fire took place late at night. The cause was never determined. This year, the same pandal has taken all sorts of precautions. The pandal has been separated into 2 parts. The mandap where the puja happens is separate from the entertainment portion. So that if a fire begins, the entire area is not vulnerable.
