Delhi Rain News | 1 Killed, Several Injured As Giant Tree Falls On Biker In Kalkaji
Torrential rain wreaked havoc in Delhi-NCR on August 14, flooding streets and disrupting traffic. In a tragic incident at Paras Chowk, Kalkaji, a decades-old neem tree was uprooted by the storm, crushing a biker to death. The victim, identified as 50-year-old Sudhir Kumar, was riding with his daughter when the tree collapsed. Several others were injured, and multiple vehicles were damaged. Rescue teams, cranes, and excavators rushed to the spot to clear the debris. The Indian Meteorological Department has warned of more heavy rainfall in the coming days.
