Delhi Protest Violence: BJP Releases Video of ACP Vivek Bhagat Being Attacked

Fresh visuals have intensified the investigation into the violence that erupted during the student protest in central Delhi. A video shared by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on July 24 allegedly shows ACP Vivek Bhagat being assaulted by a mob during the clashes, while two students are seen shielding the injured officer from further blows.

Delhi Police allege that miscreants infiltrated the demonstration and launched targeted attacks on security personnel using stones, bottles and batons. ACP Bhagat was among several police personnel injured during the violence near Jantar Mantar.
