Delhi Pollution Politics Escalates as AAP Targets Delhi LG, BJP's Virendra Sachdeva Hits Back

Politics over air pollution in the National Capital Region has escalated sharply, with the Aam Aadmi Party releasing a poster depicting Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena as the Bollywood character Ghajni, accusing him of selective amnesia over accountability for the city’s pollution crisis. The poster comes days after the LG wrote to former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, blaming years of inaction for Delhi’s deteriorating air quality. Earlier, AAP leaders staged a controversial skit portraying Santa Claus fainting due to toxic air, an act that led to an FIR being filed against party leaders for allegedly hurting religious sentiments. BJP's Virendra Sachdeva has strongly criticized the AAP’s campaign, calling it irresponsible and accusing the party of evading responsibility while residents continue to suffer choking pollution levels.
