Delhi has been placed under heightened security ahead of the Cockroach Janta Party's planned protest at Jantar Mantar against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Police have detained around 400-500 people, including individuals with criminal records, and imposed prohibitory orders while denying permission for the demonstration. Mobile internet services have reportedly been suspended in parts of central Delhi, with barricades, drones, CCTV cameras and additional women police personnel deployed. Train services have also been disrupted, with 245 trains reportedly cancelled at New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin stations.
