Delhi News | Nearly 300 Homes Sealed in Delhi, Newborn Left In The Cold
A large-scale sealing drive in Aali Gaon, Okhla constituency in South Delhi, has displaced hundreds of families after authorities sealed nearly 300 homes over alleged encroachment claims. Residents allege the action was carried out without prior notice, leaving families locked out of their homes and deprived of electricity and water. With demolitions halted due to GRAP-IV restrictions, families—including newborns, pregnant women, and the elderly-are now living in the open amid severe winter conditions. No shelter, food, or medical assistance has been provided so far. Residents are demanding immediate relief, de-sealing of homes, and due legal process.
