The people of Delhi voted on Sunday in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) election on Sunday. With only 50 per cent turnout, the Election Commission's warning against "urban apathy" continued to hold true. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is looking for greater control in the national capital by wresting control of the civic body. The BJP is hopeful of extending its 15-year reign in the MCD, while the Congress hopes to win some ground.
