Speaking to NDTV, Nadvi confirmed his presence at the site, saying locals were agitated over the manner in which the drive was carried out. Senior Delhi Police officials have told NDTV that the MP’s presence will also be examined as part of the ongoing investigation into the stone-pelting incident, with CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts being reviewed.
