Delhi Demolition Drive Eyewitness Speaks To NDTV: 'Targeting Of Cops Was Pre-Planned'
An eyewitness who was present during the clashes near a mosque at Ramlila Maidan has told NDTV that the violence appeared to be premeditated, alleging a deliberate attempt to target police personnel. The eyewitness claimed nearly 200 people were involved in the coordinated stone pelting. So far, police have detained 10 individuals, while CCTV and body-camera footage is being analysed by the Delhi Police to identify others involved. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing as they examine whether the attack was planned.
