While the spike in COVID-19 cases in Delhi continues, the government relaxed norms on seating in buses. Buses in the national capital are now allowed to run at full seating capacity. Earlier, the number of passengers was restricted to 20. NDTV reported from a Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus where some passengers say they are unhappy about the move as many don't wear mask properly. Government marshals inside buses said the change was needed to meet the demand-supply gap. Earlier, people had to wait in queues for a long time at bus stops due to the 20-passenger limit.
