Delhi Acid Attack Case Turns Murkier: Accused's Wife Alleges Rape Against Victim’s Father
The Delhi acid attack case has taken a shocking twist. Even as the main accused remains absconding, his wife has filed a counter-complaint accusing the victim’s father of rape and blackmail. The police are yet to register the FIR but confirm that an investigation is underway. The 20-year-old victim, a Delhi University student, had earlier accused her neighbour Jitendra of stalking her for months before the acid attack. The NCW has now sought a detailed report from Delhi Police within five days.
