Today is a big day for CBSE students and the first season of in-person exams in the new testing format has begun. The new format splits the exam into two parts, one multiple-choice objective test in the first term that is being conducted now and a second written subjective test in the second term that will be conducted in April or March 2022. Exams for minor subjects, or subjects taken by fewer students, are being held first. Exams for more widely chosen subjects will begin by the end of the month. Many students are happy to return to school for exams, but without the option to take exams online, some are nervous about the spread of COVID-19.
