Speaking NDTV's Vishnu Som on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, Sun Group's Chairman Vikramjit Singh Sahney underlined the fact that social enterprises in India don't have a sustainable model. He said that while other sectors like education and technology have well developed ecosystems, it is sectors like farming, rural health programmes, sanitation as well as food and water preservation which require support from social enterprise. He also emphasised on the need for having greater collaboration to help these sectors.
