Dalit's eyes gouged out in Maharashtra
The eyes of a 20-year-old Dalit man Chandrakant Gaikwad were gouged out by the family of an upper caste girl he had eloped with. The couple had eloped to Andhra Pradesh. The girl's family tracked then down and brought them back to Maharashtra.
