The BJP is battling to contain the fallout of the Dalit protests that have scorched north India. On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi leading protests at Raj Ghat to address, amongst other issues, violence against Dalits. The BJP is now saying it will hold its own pro-Dalit hunger strike and ramp up its Dalit outreach. But will that be enough?
