Cyclone Remal Landfall Likely Tonight, Bengal On Alert

Severe cyclone Remal is expected to make landfall in parts of West Bengal and Bangladesh on Sunday. The India Meteorological Department has issued a warning in the coastal area. Gusty winds and overcast weather were witnessed in South 24 Parganas' Sundarbans area. The cyclone is expected to be accompanied by extremely heavy rainfall and strong winds in West Bengal. Notably, IMD said that the current warning for Cyclone Remal is in effect until Tuesday, but it may be extended if the situation requires.
