Cyclone Biparjoy brought relief for farmers in Rajasthan as the average rainfall across the state has been 92.09 mm, which is 220 per cent more than the average for this time of the year. The cyclone may have been destructive but the heavy rains came two weeks ahead of the sowing season in the state where 70 per cent of agriculture is rainfed.
