After heavy rains and flooding in Kota, crocodiles have been caught on camera roaming colony roads and settling into vacant urban plots filled with rainwater. Residents living near the Chandraloi River are alarmed, saying crocodiles are lurking close to their homes and fields, making it unsafe to step outside after dark. Farmers also report crocodiles entering farmlands and village drains.
