A special SIT has been formed to investigate the recent cough syrup deaths. The team is set to travel to Chennai as action against the Tamil Nadu-based pharma company is expected soon. Chhindwara SP Ajay Pandey confirmed that accused doctor Dr. Praveen Soni is in police custody, though no arrest has been formally made.
