COP30 | Protesters Storm Into COP30 Climate Conference in Brazil, Clashes Break Out With Security A group of activists skirmished briefly with security on Tuesday at United Nations climate talks, briefly trying to push their way into the main venue before they were pushed back. Fred Almeida, an eyewitness, and others described seeing the confrontation late in the day as people were filtering out of the venue. It wasn't immediately clear if anyone was hurt in the incident, but at least four ambulances stood outside the venue in the aftermath.
