Former telecom minister A Raja has written to his former boss, Manmohan Singh - a first since his acquittal in the "2G scam", billed as one of India's biggest corruption scandals, last month. The deeply emotional letter spoke of a wedge the case had driven between them. Assuring Dr Singh of his loyalty, Mr Raja wrote that although he had been a loyal supporter of Dr Singh, "compulsions" prevented then Prime Minister from openly supporting him.
