Commend India for Narrowing Gap: UN official On Human Development Index

India ranked 132 out of 191 countries in the 2021 human development index, according to a report released by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). "I'd like to commend the Indian government for narrowing the gap between male and female human development index achievement...faster than the rest of the world," UNDP representative Shoko Noda said.
